Please join us in celebrating one of our outstanding seniors, Mr. Clark R, who has been selected as the 2026 Jefferson Scholars Program nominee for Abingdon High School!
The Jefferson Scholars Program is a nomination-only program open to high school seniors planning to attend the University of Virginia. The scholarship process is a highly selective, multi-stage journey beginning with one student nomination from each high school in Virginia. Recipients are chosen based on their demonstration of exceptional leadership, academic merit, and engaged citizenship. The scholarship provides four years of fully funded study at the University of Virginia, and also provides money for summer travel, independent research, and study abroad.
