HEALS Senior, Ethan P., has earned top recognition at a recent DECA competition, placing among the top performers in his category and securing a spot at the national level.
During the competition, Ethan placed in the Top 3 overall in the testing event for his category and earned 2nd Place in the In-Home Medical Services event, demonstrating strong knowledge and skill in healthcare-related business concepts.
With this achievement, Ethan and his team have qualified for the DECA International Career Development Conference, which will take place in April in Atlanta, GA. The event brings together top-performing students from across the country to compete and showcase their expertise in a variety of career-focused events.
Participation in DECA events provides students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, apply classroom learning in competitive settings, and explore careers in business, marketing, finance, hospitality, and healthcare services.
