Biography

With a strong foundation in both business and student services, Ms. Dean brings more than 30 years of experience in education to the Healthcare Excellence Academy Lab School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Mary Washington College and a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development from Radford University.

Throughout her career, Ms. Dean has served in a variety of educational roles, including 10 years as a Marketing Teacher at Virginia High School, five years as a School Counselor at Abingdon High School, and 15 years as a School Counselor at Virginia High School. Dedicated to supporting student growth and success, Ms. Dean is passionate about helping students explore their strengths, prepare for future careers, and achieve their academic and personal goals.
